Narcotics and Other Controlled Substances

Patients prescribed narcotics and other controlled substances at Walkley Medical Centre will be required to sign an agreement with the prescribing doctor. It will outline the potential risks and the patient's role in maintaining this treatment. Any breach of the contract will result in these medications no longer being prescribed, therefore we encourage you to keep a copy of this document and review it periodically. These medications will not be renewed without an appointment and will not be renewed in the after-hours clinics.
