Booking Office Appointments

Appointments are being offered in the office at the discretion of each individual doctor. We are striving to serve our patient population virtually as much as possible to reduce risk of asymptomatic transmission.

To book an appointment online for Dr. Assemi, Dr. Naveen Soni, or Dr. Riley, please click HERE. Dr. Ramachandran's appointment bookings are made by phone call to the office. If no appointments are available online soon, and you feel your issue is urgent, please call the office.

** Please note: Dr. Soni is currently away and appointments are not available via online booking. Please call the office to book an appointment with the locum.

All visits to our clinic are by appointment and will be booked with your regular doctor. If you have forms or notes for completion, please let staff know this at the time of booking. There will be additional charges for these services. Click HERE for the uninsured services list.

Attending your Appointment – Steps for Safety

-
You must wear a mask, surgical masks are preferred - keep your mask on
-
We will see patients with respiratory tract infections - we encourage patients to perform a rapid antigen test for COVID and report the result to us. We will see patients with COVID infection, but will need to accommodate the booking in order to reduce risk to the others in our office. Therefore, informing us of a positive test would be helpful to manage your access.
-
To enter the clinic, one may walk around the pharmacy building to access the main front door off of Bank Street OR you may walk through Shoppers Drug mart and access the sliding door to our unit to the left of the pharmacy.
-
We aim to keep our waiting room sparsely filled in order to minimize airborne exchange.
-
We are restricting visits to under 15 minutes to reduce transmission. Please respect your physician's time and maintain a distance when not being examined.
Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments
Booking an appointment means that time has been reserved for you. This is particularly important during these times, as we aim to maintain our encounters and reduce unnecessary visits to the emergency department. If you miss an appointment without 24 hours notice, you will be billed at the Ontario Medical Association suggested rates to the discretion of your provider.

After Hours Coverage
As a member of Walkley Medical Centre, you are entitled to access to your regular doctor or another doctor in the group during cross-coverage sessions for urgent matters only. Due to Ministry of Health requirements for Family Health Organizations, we are unable to continue providing urgent care to our Quebec patients during the After Hours period (evenings and weekends).

In the event that your regular doctor is unavailable and your problem is urgent, please inform the staff of the nature of the problem and we will try to accommodate you as best as we can. All doctors have a few same day bookings available for urgent matters.

We also hold after-hours (cross-coverage) clinics on certain weekdays from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
